  • crimp point ! i think this is in the ecu box above. i mean the red wire with the black tape on connected to the flip side. thanks.

    hi mate the crimp joint is actually inside the wiring loom, you cannot say it unless you remove the loom and unrap the tap. only reason ive got a loom in bits as iam removing the wiring for the xenon headlight levelers. as i said will take a pic for you and post it up.

    How do you go about a new key then .. Mines a manual so I'll look out for manual clocks

    hi mate will have to get someone round who had a vag coms unit. and can cut you a key for your car and programme that key to the s4 dash.
    Hi there wonder if you might help me out .. I've heard you've just fitted s4 clocks into your car .. I'm looking to do the same can you tell we what I need to do

    hi mate thank you for your message its not easy, they plug straight in. but you will have to have a new key cut and coded for your car, as being as s4 are v8s and mine was a 4 pot, the codes are totally diffrent. you will also have to set the language of the clocks back to english. and also if you get manual clocks and yours is an auto you will need to get the dash programmed to your car
