what do you think would look best? thanks

I have the s-line which has the greyish centre and chrome outer, i was wanting the full black optics grille as in your pic but i'm not sure if it suits a light colour car (mine is also akoya)

I guess with black mirrors it wont look odd from the front view?

I think the black grille suits the car more mate

yeah im gonna get the full black but the black optic grille.... is it gloss black with a shine or just like a satin black colour?

Mines akoya too and i've never been happy with the black optics on any akoya i've seen, just doesnt pull it off aswell as any other colours!

The full black grill is far better, matches the fog surrounds etc! That grill looks ace with tints too! I think its good on lighter cars as well as darker ones, a good contrast!

yeah well like i said im gonna get all black plus i have tinits but i just want to know about the colour exactly........... is it shiny gloss black or a dull satin black colour?

I believe the outer trim is gloss black and the grill mesh is matt. IIRC

hmmm im not to sure on the lights im debating changing the lights for some of those day line running lights but really unsure atm

Well, my car has gone in today for it's S-Line conversion (WOOHOO!) - anyway, my car is Avus Silver which is a darker pearlescent silver to the Akoya - I'm fitting the FK-Grille (matt black grille with matt black surround - same as scotties) and also paintning the mirrors same colour as the grille.

You could hold off making a decision til the end of the week and I'll provide you some pics to assist your decision...

My opinion though on your dilemma is that the chrome surround actually looks classier on your car - each to their own though :)
