Hi,

I have a 2005 S4 and it has the Phone Prep in the dash with bluetooth. I just got a new Iphone 3Gs and was wondering if there is an adapter so i can plug and attach he Iphone to the car so I can see the telephone numbers on my RNS-E sat nav unit.

Hi mate. Yeah they do them! Rough around £98 from the stealers. Similar price on eBay too! Not too sure what the part number is but if you call them up they will know what you mean.

Also, regarding the numbers showing in the RNS-E, I think that only works if you have the multi function steering wheel, someone please confirm??

Ah right, I havent got the multi function wheel.. Bit pointless then really as I habe BT. I guess it charges it as well.

£98 seems a lot for a bit of plastic! STEALERS!!!

8P0 051 435 HC for the 3GS and the price is about right. The dealers seem to have them on back order though!

Yeah it charges the phone and also connects to the cars' antenna to provide better signal. Basically it's an expensive phone charger though really!
