Just a warning for everyone to be aware in the Northern quarter in Manchester, on of my workmates had an attempted car jacking on sat nite. She was with her boyfriend in his black audi a4 looking for a parking space when a woman walked out in the road, he stopped to let her cross and she stood there. About 8 blokes came out of nowhere and started trying all the doors telling them to get out and then started to try and smash the windows. Her boyfriend floored it and managed to get away.

When she called the police the copper guessed it was either a BMW or an audi in black, silver or blue.

If your in the area take care!!!
 
Glad for them, Its so relieving to know our cars have an auto-lock feature. Times are bad, everyone should watch out
 
i would of run over every one of the gang members .

According to the police it is likley they had been watching them looking for a spack for a while but as they were takeing ages they tried to jack it!!! ........................oh how satisfying it would have been to run those c**ts over. They were all british as well the guys!!
 
Another example of today's society, pays to be careful out there.

What with looking for speed cameras, car jackers etc it's a wonder I have time to look where I'm going these days :(

I`ve seen so many posts lately, about car jacking and thefts it`s just so sad to read...

Yeap exactly like in South Africa, except they'd lie across the road & if you see that then you dont stop, you just go over them or round them, but never stop.

Doesn't get my vote. That's called escalation and it just means that next time another innocent couple would have shotguns pointed in their faces instead.
 
sounds like my idea of fun, trip to manchester it is then.
 
I work in Chad central Africa mate, Not many car jackings around here when you have a 30cal bushmaster on the roof of your armour'd vehicle!
Mind Manchester cops may have something to say if I went cruising the streets in a bombed up Mowag 8 wheeler!!!

Catch the scum and drop them in Helmand then see how hard they are! theiving Pus!

Get your car knicked then pal , Lucky they had the door locked they were lucky believe me its going on an awefull lot around manc , and if you had it done to you would you just keep bending over everytime they try it , If so you will be targeted every 3 to 4 month trust me i know these thing's ..

My motto is make a stand after i was burgled a few people got a slap after i turned up at there house with a few pals , the guy i heard who burgled my house dissapeared of the scene , Ive heard he is now imprison and the local ***** around gorton got to know not to bother coming to my house or trying it again .....


I suppose its ok if you live out in the stick's but in inner city you bend over once they will be back every 4 month's i know some people on our estate that have been bugled like 6 to 8 times imagin the hell ....i cant

Yeap can see that point aswell, escalates, you get bat, they get a knife, you get a bigger knife they get a machete, you get a dog they get a gun, etc etc, but I still would stand up to them.

Do me a favour bud. Do you really think that because I'm not willing to carry a shotgun around with me that means I'm bending over and letting them get their own way?

The problem with gangs in this country is that none of them have the balls to make the RIGHT choice and go to the police to try and solve their issues. It's not the easy option of course but the WRONG choice is to take up arms and take the law into your owns hands. That's why knives became more prolific over the last few years and THAT's why we ended up seeing children getting killed.

Yeah! I lived in Manchester for a number of years and it's nowt new, scum proper SCUM. There's a similar scam that was doing the rounds near Rochdale (lovely place) at night time a woman (generally) will lie at the side of the road and pretend to be injured or in distress, then when a good soul stops their car to offer help they generally get jacked. Praying on peoples good nature..

It is shocking but stooping to their level isn't the answer as it only makes you bad.
