Here's one for you chaps,
i'm new to this forum but have a little problem. I currently run a 1998 Audi A3 1.8T. The car has been an absolute gem with regard to reliability!. Its now registered 104 000 miles and other than regular servicing + 1 battery nothing else has gone wrong. (touch wood).
I have started to see a little electrical problem. It seems to relate to the radio. When I remove the key with the radio on, it stays on! The radio is standard audi, never been removed. What I now have to do it turn the radio off myself.
Another niggle is the interior light seems to stay on sometimes, but if i open and close the door it will dim as normal. Both of these issues seem to have cropped up recently and could be related.
Any suggestions !!????!
