Well my front Bose speaker is starting to distort at high volume.

Anyone have a front one spare that works for beer tokens? Maybe you've upgraded and have them kicking around somwhere.... <nothing on Ebay so far!>

im in the same boat too...think the connectors on mine are loose. it works ok sometimes but is shocking other times. just disconnected it for the time being to save my sanity. lol

i need a new one or a how to guide to sort it out
 
HAve you tried swapping it over with the other front speaker to make sure its the speaker thats the problem and not the wiring?

My passenger speaker is really quiet and I swapped it with my drivers one yesterday and the speaker is fine.
 
I haven't to be honest, but my driver one went last year and it's doing the same thing. So im 90% sure it's the speaker... could be wrong though!
 
Hi, got the same problem on the front driver side one on mine, loads of ratlle and crackling. is the speaker blown? how do you access the speaker without breaking the cover?
 
i connected a different speaker to the wiring and that was fine. so i know its the speaker.
Just Disconnected it for now until i find a new one. 3 working speakers is much better than a full set with one distorting

anyway, to get to the speaker, you just need to take the door card off and pull away the lining on the back of the card....simples (2-5 min job)
 
looks like demand is higher than supply...think i might just see if i can have mine repaired. could be cheaper and quicker than finding a new one, lol
 
I've got two rears, with the adaptors which I had sold on eBay a while ago, but the guy has not come to collect yet, nearly two months later. Non-paying bidder coming up...

ive got the same with my drivers side front speaker and i think my passenger one isnt much better, have been thinking of replacing both front with another make but not sure what to go for any opinions?
 
Hi Ryan, did you replace yours ? If so for what and if you dont mind me asking how much ?
