Carbon fibre b pillar trims

on the facelift cars its all the alloy bits that go. door handles, boot lock strip and the bits on rear doors.

Im still on with the costing, I haven't forgotten! Just trying to find the most economical method to produce these parts to keep the cost down for you guys. I should be able to have a cost by the end of the day. Some of the costs I have been quoted for the mould are sky high!

Price?????????????????????????/

Steady on fella, I have been trying to find the most cost effective way of producing these. I have been calling for quotes and this takes time believe it or not as I have had to supply CAD files etc etc. I also have a full time job to do as well as my own project on going not forgetting I have a life as well. At this point in time it doesn't even look financially viable, the cost of the mould alone is very very expensive. Realistically it would cost around £200 a pair for me to even entertain it. Any thoughts?

Im still waiting for some quotes to come in but doesnt look like i can do this much cheaper unless like 50 people pay a deposit!

ooooooooo handbags! Thats a bit too steep for me fella. Would love them as they look excellent quality but its a tad higher then i would want to pay out

Fair enough.

£200 a pair is the minimum I could make them for to be honest and that's for 10 pairs, I could make them cheaper with a fibreglass core material but the major cost is for the mould anyway so wouldn't save that much, believe me that's cheap.

Any interest?

Thats not a bad price for the work, products involved tbh.

I can't afford it as thats half my map paid for,lol But it would make for a nice mod, not many people had.

I have carbon b-pillar trims on mine, from here: http://www.carbon-works-berlin.de/

I have their mirror caps too. Great god quality products, although a few quid, but what decent carbon stuff isn't! Cant rememberthe prices tbh so drop em an email.
