Hi all can anyone tell me if the BAM cylinder head will be ok to fit an AGU engine as agu heads are thin on the ground and expensive but been offered a reasonable BAM many thanks chris

The BAM is a small port head, and i think the AGU is large port. The mounting for the tensioner is the same so they will swap over without issues. The head will physically fit, at normal tune levels it will present no problems,make sure you use the inlest and exhaust gaskest from the BAM
Try for an AEB or AJL head they are both large port, you will just need to swap your manifolds and sensores etc on to it
are you sure ? the bam head is from the 225bhp s3 and the cupra r cant see them being small port ?
cool thanks guys ive just found out despite all the engine codes theres only 2 different heads for the 1.8t large and small port all codes adr aeb ajl apu and bam or any head with the casting number 058 103 373 are all large port the very same as the very wanted agu
BAM and APU are small port, so whomever told you has made an error slightly. The rest is correct.
