Silver Leather...too bling?

Hi people,

In the process of looking for my S3 at the moment. Just wondered on what peoples thoughts were on interiors. I think i have decided on the full leather and was going with black. However looked at one with the silver leather interior and I must admit I thought it looked very nice.

Bit worried I may look like a pimp driving it though!!! What does everyone else think.

Also is the silver leather difficult to keep clean and looking nice?

No not Bling... I think silver leather is nice!

I certainly wouldn't be put off buying a S3 with Silver leather. They all look nice!

As for cleaning, I wouldn't imagine you'd be getting it dirty and as long as you clean and condition it every now and then you'l be fine.

I prefer the Full Black to the Full Silver but thats because I never liked "Light" coloured interiors on Cars.

My personal preference would be for the Two Tone Leather that matches the body colour, that looks smart (IMO)

I have silver leather in mine and I love the contrast against the dark exterior. If I was looking again though, I think I'd want the black leather with grey/silver alcantara as, again, I like the contrast and I think the alcantara wouldn't be so cold in cold weather or hot in hot weather.

When i bought mine i was adement i wanted black leather until i saw a silver leather one, makes the interior so much brighter, I was slightly worried about them getting dirty or stained, but they dont mark at all.

If i had to buy another id definately buy silver again.

Dunno? The colour was I know that but not sure about the interior. As you just said, they all seem to be black so be different!

No offence to folks with black seats btw! Just prefere silver!

I find all black a bit dull, but you cant beat black leather/blue alcantera... or even black leather/yellow alcantera

Yes have to say quite like that too! More 'super sporty' than 'classy' I would say, but nice none the less.

I think silver looks better then all black, but black leather with black alacantra also looks good

Thats a beauty of a car!..
I like the silver leather although I have seen a couple looking quite grubby so could be worth using supaguard or something on it?..
It does lighten the interior and with a sunroof even more!..
(he says; with a black car, black seats, black headlining!!!!)

I Would go for the grey/silver alcantara and the half black leather then you will have the best of both worlds and the Birds Love it looks smart aswell.

I specifically wanted silver leather in mine, as mingblue says I think it gives a great contrast to darker shells. I also looked at a red a3 and that looked better with a full black leather, so it varies. steve your S3 is lookin sweet!

I think the Silver leather is lovely. It does get a little grubby after a few months but cleans off easey enough with a good leather cleaner.

So many people have commented how nice it looks.

I think its a must, but obviously im a bit biased.

Luv my silver leather, easy to keep clean, and really lifts the dark interior and door panels, and makes those Recaros stand out.
