Sal, Ambersariya is a proper classic tune, been so many different versions of it, have to say tho that I much prefer the Meshi version, than the RDB one.
 
nilz im from maidenhead,berkshire, and no i dont think i will be going, cars going in for a service on thursday and somebody hit it a while back, have not got a job yet so cant fix it all up!!! still looking... where r u from? n i take it you're going? wud love to make it, but the car jsut doesnt look right!!!

hello all you bhangra fans!

miss poojas ablum came out the other day lol, probably one or two good songs, my favourite being the one by dj vix called marhak punjaban di. kam frantic has also made a good one, but other than that, the rishi rich one released is ok(ish). she was way better when she was doing duets with the other freshies!

jaswinder daghmia's album also came out, a couple of good tracks but mostly sounding the same (due to being produced by gupsy aujla). not a bad release.

dj gurp's expectations also came out, another dj/producer that comes from slough!!! ok album, not very impressed. but im sure somebody out there will be happy with it!

bhanra is quite disappointing these days, not a good scene out there! gonna go back to listening to rnb lol while something decent is released!
 
Hey dude, im very disappointed with Miss Poojas new album, only a couple of decent tracks, even the Frantic Kam ones are not that good, which is quite shocking!!!

Vix's one is pretty decent and the Rishi Rich one is just standard RR!!

DJ Gurps is ok, couple of good tracks, but im sure that Daru Pee Ke one is an old track and I have heard it before.

Have you heard the album Apna Des Apni Boli (think thats what its called) Sarbjit Cheema, very good album, with music done by Aman Hayer.

Nothing else decent for a while really, oh and what is with Miss Poojas new look, I am not feeling it at all....she looks too.....modern!! The style doesnt suit her voice AT ALL.

yeah i've head that apna des album, not too bad, but standard stuff coming out these days!

that daru peeka nachda track came out on dj dips album, earlier in the year. probably the best song on the album!!!
 
So why is the same track on 2 different albums???
 
i think dj dips did the remix to it, the one that comes on brit ****, and is just on his album because its his song maybe??? or maybe he needed a filler song lol
 
Hmmm very strange, as for a filler, should have just used a different track!!

Did you watch UK Bhangra Culture last night, if so was it any good??
 
i skipped it, i think ks makhan was on there, only saw about two mins of of as i missed eastenders :redface: so watched the 10:00pm one! lol :blush:
 
Oh well, i will have to watch it tonite on sky + as long as the missis hasnt deleted it or cancelled it for something on star plus!!!!

As for free downloads, I couldn't possibly comment, its all about supporting the artists, however, im sure if you google free bhangra or something along those lines you should find it.

The track is by Baljit Malwa if that helps.

Des C's album is out, anyone got it??

I actually think its quite a decent album, most of the tracks on it have been heard already, but they are all catchy tunes.
 
yeah got that a few days ago nilz, not too bad. i had the promo album a while back, but yeah, its a decent album, got some good tracks on it... there isnt much more out apart from that, its a bit dry right now!
 
Yea it is, nothing special happening at the mo...will just have to wait for some new material to hit the streets, apparently Zeus and Sharmila are doing an album that will be out soon, so thats bound to be wicked!!

Oh and B21 supposed to be making a comeback....but not holding my breath on that one.

lol yes i wouldnt bother! they arent very much without jassi sidhu, although the guy is a complete pudh!
 
hi, another album out a while back that i completely forgot about (and quite frankly didnt care for too much) is dj jagz - my moment. saw the advert on tv, and thought i recognised the guy, and yes i did! he used to work at screwfix in southall!! so that just proves, ANYBODY can become a "producer", i say "producer" because his album isnt much to go by... some of you may disagree, but thats just my opinion...
 
LOL...yea its an ok album and yea have to agree about anyone becoming a producer, however there is ALOT of ghost producing still going on, so even your local jack the lad can become a top producer, as long as the money is available!!
 
alright all, song that im loving at the moment is Nirmal Sidhu - Nai Jeena (i know its a bit of a slow one n all that)!

Yea seen/heard it...

He is foing really well, smashing the US charts which is such an achievement, credit where credit is due, good on the lad!!
 
a few new albums out, Northern Lights - Re-Lit, Ricky Bhalla – The Final Cut, The Dark MC – Incisive, all with maybe one or two good songs, then the rest average.

there's also a jay sean down desi remix by dj vix, you guys may have heard it, most likely have lol, grown on me a bit, quite like it.
 
Hey mate, didnt see this update, was just about to put it up myself, yea as you mention, they are all new albums, will only 1-2 decent tracks!!

Quite a shame really...tell you what I am liking though is Mumzy and Malkit Singh and also Mumzy and Kaka, both decent catch tunes...

Apart from that, thats it really, oh there is Angrej Ali and Aman Hayer album out too...
 
yeah that aman hayer album is ok, the three songs nachdi de, gabru de bulaan and naal nachengi tu are the best, the other remixes are a waste of time imo.

honestly, i hate that mumzy n malkit singh song! malkit singh isnt a little teenager, he should act his age n sing songs that are more appropriate! just my opinion lol

Not really a fan of bhangra, i'm cool with it at weddings & parties etc... but it's not something i download and listen to!

Just to add, i can't stand that new Imran Khan s**t, what a fresh! :laugh:
