Oil consumption on B7 2.0 TDI 170ps

Hi all,

As the title really. What sort of oil consumption can I expect from a B7 2.0 tdi 170 ps engine on a 2008 plate? Just done 9000 miles and put in about 1/2 litre.

Anybody run this engine for a while?

Hi Adam,

Mines a 57 plate 2.0 tdi quattro 170. Just done 54000 miles, I probabley use 1 litre between services (18000) so your oil consumption seems ok to me.

Hi Kev,

Thanks for the reply. New engine and make for me Audi and was interested as my last diesel (Ford 2.0 TDCI 130PS) used nothing between services.
