Oh dear so few of us will be left.

I had hoped he had overcome the personal probs he had, maybe he is upgrading?
 
Tho i am tempted to sell mine for a quatty sometimes, then i look at how hard it was to get her where she is, and how much a 1998 car is worth, the idea goes away
 
makes me want to buy it and sell mine. pitty its not a facelift quattro sport.
 
trust when i say this is prob the quickest FWD Audi a4 in the UK even on the STD K03

when i was running the IHI it was mental quick and in my eyes to much that's why i went back to the K03 but it was fun.
 
I only just noticed how close Andy lives to me.... What a shame.

Very surprised the bidding hasn't exploded yet....
 
Get:
BMW E36 Compact lip spoiler.
Facelift lights.
RS4 wing mirrors.

Get rid:
Towbar.
RS4 badge.

Fit:
Rears seats!

Yes, I'd definitely lose the rear spoiler, and update the front end with projector headlamps, and probably B5 RS4 foglamps too.

B5 RS4 aluminium matt mirrors will look great against the Ming Blue paintwork.

And I agree with you as per the wheels.

Not a fan of "slammed" cars of any description, or "stretched" tyres.
As for smoother bumpers, not a lot you can do there - B5 RS4 bumpers are already smooth.

I'd replace the rear though, with a Euro S4 item.
 
Tow bar wil be gone before the sale and the rear seats are now fitted :salute:

She had to go I'm afraid, sorry doc for not getting the bottle off you, but it was make or brake time with selling her on.... and hard times made me make the move. Me and the Mrs have had alot of bullsh**t to deal with since xmas and its possibly only just starting to get better now :think: I would have kept hold of it and finished it off as per convos on here. But with what has been going on i doubt it would have been possible.

If i do get another Audi it will be a bit down the line possibly 2 years time and it will be a real B5 RS4 or a new B6 S4. But thats just a pipe dream at the moment and anyway i want an E46 M3 coupe before i get one of those :yes:

For now I will have to deal with a different car and release some equity in the Audi, i just need something to tow my jet ski and have alot of space to throw all of my tools and bits and preferably be quite nice inside for long journies. I do have something lined up but i will have to see in 2 weeks if i get it or not will be a godsend if i do.... at the price my mate can do it. Dont care about the running costs as that is not my problem. :)

Ill still be about on here keeping my eye on the audi scene plus i have some other bits i never fitted to the audi kicking about to sell on.
 
Andy it will be a shame seeing you go and the bottle is here if Paul wants it.

Ok Paul what would I do well I would replace the rear arches with RS4 Quarter and rear doors. To be honest this is not an option for you right now if your on a budget.

I would put a S4 rear bumper on her for sure and heat the side to flow with the arches.

Face lift centre consul to update the inside (Andy wanted to do this and I could help you out:)).
I love the BBS LM's wheels and replicas can be had quite cheap (spacers needed here).
Lights def need doing and you have a few options on that but once again ebay is you're friend.

The BMW compact rear spoiler has a larger profile than the standard M3 unit and need to be custom fitted but I can advise on that as I did this to my old car.

Sounds like Andy done a few more things since I last saw it and Andy has only enhanced the car since he bought it so you should do alright.

I just missed my dream car, I just dont have the cash ATM if i had i would have almost the same car i already have AND quattro

I would keep it quite if I was you am doing that with my B6 to B7 RS4 conversion.:sly:

Oh and if you want a set of A8 rims I have a set of them to at Siena's place.
 
Get some dark Gallardo reps on it like Aidan from Bahnstorm has done with his...

think i might have to look into getting a rear lip spoiler like that myself. i need to paint the boot anyway,rust in the usual place on the facelift ones.
 
If i was to keep and finish it i would have:

Got those Matte alloy mirror casings off ebay.
Put in the late spec center console and switches
Put in some late spec projector headlights
Put in genuine RS4 foglights
Had the bumper fixed and blown over
Got some BBS RC or LM alloys on her but still in 18 inch format
Get an S4 rear bumper put on it.
Upgrade the rear brakes to something bigger to match the front.

And as you said do all the power upgrades and possibly a 6 speed conversion.

Sounds like you have the same plans as i did for her so its going into good hands.

P.s the interior is now spotless and the towbar is off, just need to give it a wash and wax when i get a brake from all this rain...:blink:
 
I deffo will do, ill keep my fingers in some Audi engine oil if you guys ever need a hand.

Hopefully someone will pick up my T28 kit and be the first on this forum to use it properly. ;)

Damn. I thought my much-hyped Sport interior in Tungsten Leather was the shiz, now I realise that an RS4 interior is sooo much more nifty....
 
Its still not a flip down, i bolted the seats to the rear boot wall with the rivnut gun and they are rock solid plus if Paul ever wants to make them 60/40 all he has to do i grind out the boot wall fix the hinges and catches and hes done.
 
Paul anothe rpic for you with boot and plates fitted. Will be getting tax either Fri or Sat depending when the cover note comes through for the amened plates.
