Are S3's with sunroofs rare?

I am just wondering are s3's with sunroofs rare? as i dont seem to see that may about?

Not at all mate, my S3 was with & seen fair few others, wouldnt be without one

Mine too, and cruise control and parking sensors:arco:(not that you need parking sensors on an S3). What about puddle lights in the doors, do all S3's have this?
 
The sunroof is a must in my S3. I never use the air con, but always have my roof on tilt.
 
I cant find a good reason to add kg on the roof and get a more top havy, and slower car... :)

You tell me mate, point i'm making is if you think that a sunroof is too heavy then why you got an S3 anyway? S3's are probably 'one of' the slowest and heaviest hot hatch's on the road! I really dont think a sunroof is gonna make FA difference. Anyway, nuff said!

maybe yours is but mine is not slow by any means


forget the sunroof and get a convertible if you want to feel the wind whilst driving.

Sunroof on mine, been using it on tilt the last few weeks with the warmer weather when im on the motorway.
 
My privius cars had sunroofs but i dont miss it. Look up for rust on it gays... :gaehn:
 
Be heedful when you are tilting your sunroof so you dont get rustflakes in your eyes... :yahoo:
 
I really like mine, didn't really see many with them so I count myself lucky. Great having it fully open but when u go above 40 boy does it make some noise! The buffeting is crazy...
 
I'd like a sunroof in mine now the weathers here, think the S3 looks good with it on tilt...the extra weight wouldn't bother me in the slightest...
 
Sunroofs on S3's are the way forward... did not know there was a tilt option though!! i'll have to have a look into that, i take it you rotate the dial the other way for that??
 
Ive had 3 cars with sunroof and all have had a problem. The rover caused the roof to rot, in the crx the actual panel rotted and in the old mini well that was just old lol. I miss them like a hole in the head.
 
And today I found out the sunroof had a tilt function...The stuff you find out :tumble:

Dennis, you weren't the only one to find that out today!! :)

it's not the most intuitive switch which isn't typical of an audi!!
