Bit bored at work so thought i'd post this question!
Currently got an E46 M3 which has 343BHP and when it goes in 2 months i will have a new S3 which i intend to get remapped (hopefully to 300 ish BHP)
Which will be quicker?
Which will handle the corners better?
Which will be more fun to drive?

Interested in people's thoughts (if you're a bit bored and fancy posting a reply!)

:whip:

S3 with revo 2 remap, TBE from Miltek and dbilia intake should see you around 340bhp

My mates Leon cupra has 280/290bhp and keeps up enough with the M3's, he gets beaten but the M3'ers are surprised lol probably as they expect the leon to be a derv!

`Dueled` with my mates E46 M3 in my REVOd S3 (310bhp ish), and on the road there is nothing in it really.

In fact he was amazed with the all weather grip in the S3 when he drove mine. Think the S3 pips the E46 in that respect.

E46 was on the shortlist before I bought the S3 (had the remap planned).
Although the E46 drives and sounds amazing, still think it was the right choice, but I would say that.

Two great cars, pretty much agree with DiscPanda, although the straight line thing is much closer than you would think, if at all.

No room in the drive and budget for both????

Cheers
Paul

Your a lucky lad if you have the drive and the wallet for both haha

I wish i had the money for both but afraid not. In fact i'm saving £250 per month going from the M3 to the S3!
