Decisions, decisions...

V nice with the genuine 19s rs4 wheels aswell . But we are trying to reduce weight

Still cant sleep so heres some photoshop selections of diff type wheels

Im leaning towards 18" Ultraleggeras in mattblack at the moment (meaning for the next 15 minutes or so...).

CH's all the way! The ultra leggera's do look a good wheel, but in my opinion dont suite the 8P as well as the CH's do.

Ultra's my friend. Quality wheel, was even looking at them myself.

Or get the BBS and join the huge group of people already having them, your car can look the same as their's then! now say Baa!

Or get MTM's as everyone has put those on their jam jars too! Maybe RS4 rep's??

Are you a leader or follower..... That is the question!

Ch's are played completely, as good as they look they are getting very common!

Erm but being different quite often means it will look cack.

CHs & MTMs are popular because they look right! I'd rather be a sheep and look good rather than go for something lesser cos its different!

Oh no there's a rising rebellion against the CH's!

We'll be burned at the stake! First labour MP's rebel against Mr Brown, Now AS.net members against the might BBS CH Rims

he he he

These might be genuine Audi rims, but they're not Genuine RS4s. The RS4's have a 20mm offset and a much bigger dish, so won't fit 'normal' Audis. Do look good though, although I think gloss black would be better ;)

I'm not saying go for different rims that look cack though am I otherwise i'd say go and get some 3 spokes of the old fiesta RS turbo and whack em on!

There are plenty of rims out there which look good, it just a matter of finding them and being a little more bold etc. I'm not denying the CH's look good on the car but the 8P A3/S3's are being flooded with them now, like when i joined the forum everyone was putting on RS4 rep's.

I think the black utlra's will look realy nice on the car. I've seen at least another 4 sets of rims i would like that are a far cry from BBS styling. Modying is about individuality....

Only my opinion.... and its not worth much!

What in your eyes might be lesser is totally irrelevant. Buy the wheels that you like on the car, not what the masses tell you to buy because everyone else has!

My opinion

BBS CH's look nice on the car (agree). Too many people have them now so wouldn't get them. Get something different and who know's perhaps you'll start a new 8P wheel buying frenzy!

You can easily judge if a wheel looks sh*t on the car.

I finally made my decision guys. Ordered some 18*8 ET45 OZ Ultaleggera in mattblack, as they are lighter, less expensive and a bit more special imo. The BBS are really getting too common, and I expect this season will even get worse.

Ordered some new tires too. Went for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetrics in 225/40/18. They had some good reviews in car magazines. Hope I won't get any rubbing issues as my car is lowered.

They'll only be fitted in around 2 weeks as it seems that OZ is currently in short supply of those Ultraleggeras. Will post some pics up then.

black oz will look nice but i think the bronze ones would look good or if you can get gold they would to

although this looks nicer theres a set of bbs lm replicas on sale on here get them and paint em like this looks very nice

Looking forward to your pics. :icon_thumright:

I guess the golden wheels are not to everyones taste :)

My decision was more "form follows function" than the other way around.
