Damaged at the Dealers - advice please!

He can prob. trust his wife more than the Audi main dealers!

If he can't he is in the ****!

A quick update.

Bearing in mind that I had pretty accuratly descibed where the damage is but not which side of the car, suprise, superise they have marked the diagram as having damage to both front wings! I ran to the car the check and the other wing, and it is immaculate with not the slighest hint of any damage. They really must think I'm stupid.

I'm going down there Friday to kick ***.

Thats absolutely disgusting. You can do them for fraud, id defo go down and advise that you will be taking this further if they dont fix it & i'd even write to audi uk advising them of what has gone on, once they have fixed as thats noway any garage should behave, let alone stealers who charge a whole lot more than most garages.

Hey Fizz

Great advice!!!! What Planet are you circulating around!!! It's not this one!!!!!!!!!!

I would definately listen to edition and ragsterx!!

My advice would be if you go down there guns blazing you will get absolutely nowhere!! As I advised earlier, ask for Lee Seward and talk to him like a human being and not kick off and I am sure everything will be sorted!!

But hey, its only a suggestion from an old and established customer of there's.

And what makes you say that? Sorry, the last part of your comment sums it all up, you work for them?

only joking i just got a mad sence of humour.... but i would be really ****** at that scratching

Hi guys, here is the final update on the situation (I hope)

I took the car back to Tonbridge Audi, the Aftersales manager, Lee Sewell got involved and he said they would fix the car as a goodwill gesture and without admitting liability becuase the usual booking in procedure had not been followed correctly because they were busy that morning.

Make of that what you will, at least it is being fixed, it goes in next Monday for 3 days!

Rob

good outcome then! but they have left themselves WIDE open there by not doing the check on your car before and after, 100% their fault.

my car was running bad took it to audi lancaster in manchester it turned out a leaking air pipe to the turbo and a faulty breather valve but DAMN i made sure this woman went round the car with me cos i got new alloys the day before,,,, and also checked the paint work ,, before the car went over she rang them to say she,d checked the car with me so be carefull ,,, the car comeback as it went weh heh but glad your getting your car sorted i would feel much better but still annoyed they wouldnt addmit it id still wright a letter about customer service.... but good on you for sorting it:o.k:

Rob glad to hear that there fixing it. Most be pleased with the out come and also seemed like it never dragged on. Get some photos of the part they fare fixing after it done.

Customer service is close to a forgotten art in the UK. Cash extraction is the primary driver.

Nah customer service in Germany is pretty non-existant as well BUT they do litigate and sue each other to death over there hence they cover their own ****'s very well... ;D
