On behalf of a member named So1o i'd like to inform members here that he has parts available to sell. He has an S3 that had done 47k Miles when it was involved in an RTA. The front end was damaged but there are various parts which are completely salvagable. Most panels are bent as it spun and hit them on various objects.

I'm doing this so that i may help/aid members here to get used good parts cheaper. I'm in no way affiliated with so1o but have already purchased the aluminium mirrors from him yesterday. I know how much dealers are asking for new parts and if if they can be had second hand at a much cheaper price then thats a really good thing i think.

Please bare with So1o while he obtains a full parts listing and pictures of the car. I've posted this thread for people who might need parts urgently. He hopes to have the above information ready and posted up early to mid next week.

Please PM me with any requests for parts and i will contact So1o via telephone getting availability and prices.

I could do with a new scuttle plate, the one you remove when you do a oil change. I managed to snap mine reversing on to the drive in the snow :(. it may repair just havn`t got round to it yet.
 
I'll ask for you mouse. Problem is it had a front ender, so this plate (i think you mean the under engine plastic which attaches to the lower inside of the bumper and goes over the sump) might be lost/smashed etc. I'll make sure i ask.

Mr G, I wouldn't mind the piano black interior bits or the some of engine cover bits, if still available. Cheers

Hello people!

Firstly, hats of to Mr G, genuine bloke, cant thank him enough for posting this up for me.

Right where do i start, if anyone needs any bits please pm me, and i will get back to you in due course. This isnt my full time job but will try my best to get the bits and information that you need. The items can be collected from Aylesbury where the car is stored, or Luton where i live. I can also post bits to you.

The car had a front hard impact, most of the plastics near the front are broken, as is the throttlebody, gearbox, starter motor. I will try my best to get down there this weekend and take as many pictures as i can and put them up here so you can tell me what you need. The interior and chrome side mirrors are gone. The rear bumper has a crack near the bottom left. The only straight panel on the car is the tailgate. The front bumper, lights etc are broken. I will know more when i pop down. I will probably post bits once a week as i wont be able to get to the car more than once a week. I will try my best to help you with what you need, but please if its urgent i cant guarantee i will be able to get the part to you in time.

Hi there to everyone who has PM'd me and or posted in this thread.

As you can now see So1o is available to take all requests for parts himself and will be carrying on where i'm now leaving off.

I have PM'd So1o with all of your PM's and unless the parts have already been sold or are unavailable due to the smash/accident you will all have PM's back in due course. As soon as So1o has looked and performed a full inventory he'll let you know one by putting up a full list here on AS (hopefully with pictures).

I believe in helping people where i am able to so have helped So1o with this, and hopefully others by giving them the opportunity to purchased used parts.

It's an S3. So all headrests will be leather regardless of Alcantara in the car or not.

**NB Please PM So1o directly from this point on. Do not post here asking for parts as this thread will likely become messy and rather large. It's a whole lot easier for the forum imo if PM's are used.

Again...have patience once you've sent a request. The parts are available (mostly) and So1o will get back to you asap, he's viewing the car Saturday Morning, making a full list and will let the members know (via a new thread or addition to this one) who have either PM'd him directly or have PM'd me.

I spent over half an hour last night going through my inbox and forwarding all the information and sifting through the 45 odd PM's i'd received for parts. Overwhelming response lol.

You do NOT need to PM him again if you have already PM'd me as i've said above these have ALL been forwarded!

Can I just make a small post in order to thank Mr G for his efforts here, given that it's not his job or even his car that's being broken for parts, I'd say he's done a top job in helping out the other members of the forum.

Hello people.

Please bear with me. I have over 50 pms to go through and can only do so much at a time. The work that i do means i dont have much time for anything else but me being an idiot i overload myself with even more work. I apologise if there is a delay in answering your pms. I could be delayed for as much as four or five days. I always read all the pms so i will try to prioritise peoples request according to what they require, e.g if someones cars not running properly and they need a sensor. I will get back to you all though so please bear with me.

Hi,
