Just spotted these S3s

VERY limited market for the first one, not me cup of green tea.

White one is nice, wouldnt pay extra for `Alfa` White.

Does that mean it will break down more?

The green is better than Solar Orange or Imola Yellow - but still a silly colour. What's the difference between that Bianco jobby and Ibis White ? Apart from the fact Ibis White is free ?

Is the Alfa one the same as the pearl Gta colour. If so it looks stunning in my opinion!!!

Still kinda wish i had bought a 147 Gta

The mother lodge is located in my town, green's not an option LOL, as for suggesting Alfa's aren't reliable you may receive same comments i got when I suggested that ;)

I've seen the green in the flesh and it looks stunning, wouldn't own one, but it does look good. Photo's do not do it justice really.

3 colleagues had alfas , ALL had catastrophic engines failures.
My Dad had a 147 and sold it for a massive loss after 5 months because everything went wrong.
Coincidence? Maybe.

Sooo wish this wasnt true as I was determined to have a 147GTA, still have a soft spot for them, just dont have a soft spot for the AA and getting the bus to work.
Could live with switches and trim dropping off, but not not engines letting go without warning.

Unfounded or not, thats my view and nothing would make me buy one now. Especially a green one.

Oak green MK2 Gti with PAS, big bumpers, 18T conversion......etc.
Yes please.

Am I off topic...........

Cheers

We did a timing belt on one, the belt having snapped with 10K less than suggsted replacement interval. Sorted it, replaced the bent valves & bought a tool to lock one of the cams as there is no marks on one of the pulley to align. Dealer asked if we had driven it, warned us to do a test drive of over 5 miles....yes 4 miles later bottom end knocked like a madman. The jounels had been crushed & starved oil to the bottom end. Engine = game over.

I still have a thing for Alfas. Gave a 159 TI serious thought before I got the A3!

No dealers nearby though which would of been pain if/when it went wrong.

So do you think the Alfa white is a pearl? Still it cant be worth the extra cost over the free Ibis?!

Also who in their right mind would order fancy special colours and get rid after 1k miles.

There are lots of pretty things out there that don't ride so good. Ho ho.
I'd never spend money on an Alfa - my boss has one and it virtually lives in the Mangoletsi repair centre.

The greens different and its not to bad but I wouldnt have it and yeah they are pretty expensive arent they?

So why the hell does everybody go on about them?

Maybe Audi, BMW, Merc, et al should engineer some ***** design into their cars and the journalists will think they are great too.

Cue Clarkson and the other two hacks...

the green care was in the show room when i got my new car around the 1st week in december and it dose look better in the flesh thay have put the s5 where that was and moved that to where mine was and that was to day.

One thing for sure they wont get those prices they are asking for them

Green one is even the old shape !

12% off is possible now against a new one

Spotted this odd green one .
