Hi there everyone and a very merry christmas hope you all had a god one !!
Right then im proper ****** off as ive just tried changing my xenon lamps today and ive gone and been a clumsy **** and bust the headlight where it connects to the self levellimg system :(
So now that im lightting up every other drivers face im guessing i will need a new headlight unit ?? If so where can i get one from for a reasonable price ???

Dude, best thing would be to have a look on Ebay, but as I read on another thread, make sure you get OEM equipment rather than aftermarket.

Also, might be worth having a word with Ibzzzz, he has a lot of dealings with HID's, he may be able to help you out. (Just PM him)
 
Cheers for the help guys but un fortunately its not its actually the headlight itself !!! you know the reflective part ibside the unit, well its the bottom part of that has come away from where i assume it attatches to the adjusting motor it flaps about if you push the lamp now !!!!
 
i did this too my last car, if u remove the head light from the car a play about for a while you can push the insides back on the adjuster. it will take a while but it will go back on. just try and make sure when your pushing it back on the other side doesnt pop off like mine did which made the job even longer :(
 
sorry to sound dumb but whats the differences between pre and pos headlamp changes?

This is a Facelift headlight its all Sidelight, dipped, main beam and idicators in one

Where as this one is a Pre-facelift and has the Sidelight, dipped and main in one cluster and the indicator as a seperate cluster!
 
But back on topic I think if you twist the motor out, then hold the moving part still tight and twist the motor back in it should pop into place....
 
Ibzzzzzz your a star mate when its warmer and i can be ***** im gonna give that a whirl saves taking the headlight out :)
Nilz is the cov meet still happening in the new year ??? when is the next one ???
