F1... Whos your money on this year?

didn't ferrari try and say kimi had a problem ? Do we think hamilton will settle for 5th ? i'm sure massa will win the race but will lewis sit back and just pick up the points ? lets hope so.

It was a boring race but for once I'm glad it was, I think hamilton drove almost perfectly though, I agree JoJo about Raikkonen being funny in the press conference when asked about letting Massa pass, I don't think I like the Idea of the one engine supplier either, kinda goes against what F1 is about.

Well I made 2 hours free to watch it live! Got to say, it was a boring race but Hamilton was the man of the weekend. Pole, fastest lap, race win. He probably had more speed too which is the scary thing because he responded to Kimi's times. He had him well under control. He probably didn't want to push his engine too hard because he's got to carry it through to the final race. Massa was nowhere! Had the lighter car and still qualified 3rd!

Its now Hamilton's to lose. Surely he cant let it slip can he?! Theres loads of guesses about conspiracy theories come Brazil though. Will be a cracking race. Lewis just has to keep his nose clean.

Coss

No , he has to use the same engine again, he's not used his 1 joker engine this season yet but I don't think you can use it on the last race of the season unless the engine goes pop at the previous Grand Prix which obviously it didn't.

Well guys-any thoughts on the final race then? I would really love to see Hami win however-and this is just my opinion, I believe that something out of the ordinary will happen again and Massa will take it,being his home track aswell.I hope Hami will stay away from the battles and just bring it home in 3rd,4th or 5th- Just my opinion after the season we have had, I think the boys in Red have the FIA on there payrole and\or various others teams and someone or smoething will wipe our lad out? I hope not and I really hope I`m wrong!!!:beee:
What do you all reakon then?:uhm:
Come on Hamilton:superman::superman::superman::racer::racer::racer:

If lewis drives like he did in china it would be great to see him win the championship with a great win rather than 4-5th, I hope Heikki gets a good race & we see some great team work, & I just hope it's a fair race without any help to ferrari from

lol,
It has been a great season though, some annoying decisions from the FIA at times but apart from a couple of dull races, it's been deffo a good one.

I would love to see Lewis Hamilton win the title, it's refreshing for the sport, and quite a lot of driver's(including Schumi) has commented on his speed!, which is some praise coming from 7 times World Champion!
I think he's matured enough to bring the car home 5th or above to take the title, going all out and trying to win in style is quite high risk after what happened last year! But with Lewis, he just wants to winwinwin!!!:racer:

I agree with jojo. He should have it drummed in him to just get the points for this final race. Stay out of trouble. But if his racing instincts come out, it could very well end in tears like it has done so many times this year. Hope it doesn't though. Should be a good one. I can see Massa winning the race but it all depends on Hamilton if he wins the title.

I want Massa to win I just think he deserves it and its probably the only chance he will get, I don't mind Hamilton winning the championship but i'm still not 100% sure its in his nature to finish upto 5th

Holy cow now that was a good quali! Massa's lap was mindblowing! Yes he's probably a little lighter but still... Should be a good one to watch tomorrow. Lewis is right in the thick of it so be better keep his nose-cone on if he wants to win!

Delighted for Massa, but I think its Hamilton's championship
unfornately. He seems to be more clued in this year that you don't always have to push for the win and instead just drive for the championship. But i felt the same last year at this race (that it was Ham's championship) and that turned out unexpectedly to be Raikkonen's. But anything can happen

I think the start is going to be interesting with Jarno Trulli sneaking into 2nd splitting the Ferrari's apart. I expect the Ferrari's and the McLaren's to have a better start/launch than the Toyota and Lewis is right behind him! Kimi could sneak through into 2nd, or Lewis could possible pass him and do something stupid in the first 2 corners... just my feeling before the race, hope Lewis brings it home to be crowned Champion!, he doesn't need to win, and hope it's a clean race for the fans.

GO LEWIS! :racer:

Good qually sesh..... Massa definately had the upper hand and so he should, he grew up there..... i think as long as lewis keeps his head in check, he should be fine

Overall i dont think that Massa or Lewis deserve the title after the whole seasons goings on... Massa is still a good yet incosistant driver, Lewis is still a good inexperianced driver....... make your own mind up who should have the advantage here

Not gonna be able to sleep tonight:shrug::)

It's D-day today! Can't wait! Got a load of friends round to watch it and then Top Gear. Its going to be a good day! :jump: Did anyone else really like the helmet cam on DC's car yesterday? How on earth do the see where they are going?! I also thought their little ending video was good where they got everyone to sing. I loved the bit where it come up saying 'Place advert here' and then they went to MS crying with the guy saying 'Michael... you must be delighted' :lmfao:

yeah that little compalation was good, that helmet cam was great too but brundle did say it was a little bit too low and that they can see a little bit more than that

yup thought the same, was great piece of camera/editing work matching all those shots up..... quite funny too

Yeah it was good, I know people moan about the adverts but I've always thought that with itv the overall race weekend coverage was much better than it used to be back in the BBC days, I just hope they do as good a job as Itv have for the last 12 years.

I don't mind the coverage, its just they can wait 45 minutes in a game of football why carn't they wait for a race ?

So is it hamilton or Massa, I think its going to be Massa, hope i'm wrong though

yup im thinking the same Steve, although the performance last year is probably ruining our estimation a little......

i agree, although initially i thought the Sony ads were pretty impressive.... overall it'd be better without them..... BBC never seem as flamboyant as ITV, it all looks like its planned and on a budget...hope they dont make a mess of it...as we all know the joy of F1 is the whole experiance.... no crowds, no commentary and crap camera work is certain destruction for racing IMO, would be very boring

Yea overall we cant complain really. But dont forget that as the years go by, you get better technology, better ideas and better way to broadcast something now than you did 10-12 years ago. Also when it was announced that it was to move to BBC, the BBC said what it would do (ie live coverage on internet and all these other things). As soon as they said that ITV suddenly had live coverage on the net and upped their game a little bit. So i'm expecting it to be quite good. I'm half expecting some of the ITV team to move over to BBC as they did when it came to ITV. Be interesting to see.

As for who will win, my gut instinct says that Hamilton should win. However the way this season has been it wouldnt suprise me if something went wrong for him and Massa ended up winning. I think whatever happens, its been a cracker of a season! Best its been in years!

The camera was mounted in front of DC's mouth, so a little low. But Arai had to make the helmet specially so as to maintain strength with the camera in place.

I thought that was a little disrespectful to be honest. He was crying over the death of Senna.

Rain just as they are about to start!!! This is going to spice things up abit! Start delayed. Nerves anyone?! lol

what a load of bolloxs. glock pulled over to let him win. thats a ******* sham!

Lewis was lucky in the end, I'm curious what happened to Glock though... guess we better wait and see lol.

Congrats to Lewis Hamilton anyways!. :)

a bit dodgey if you ask me.
well done hamilton !
but if another team did pull over to let him win then he should have the title taken off him, thats not racing!

That was an fantasic race! Really enjoyed it. Shame about Massa and DC leaving so soon. But if Glock did let him by, Lewis is still champion. They cant do squat about it. All they can do is punish Glock and it wont effect Hamilton's points. Fair play to him though. Whoever won today deserved to win. So Hamilton it is. Roll on 2009! :salute:

good race, but if Glock didn't have a problem then hamilton should not have won that, and it should be handed to Massa... we'll have to wait and see.
