What I find funny is that you are going through this and you still have time to post it to the web.

I'd humiliate the guy. Take his phone, ake a picture of him with his trousers down and text it to all his contacts.

Seriously, I know you don't get into trouble yourself.

I would have thought the police would be grateful you apprehended the little scumbag (citizens arrest and all that) send the police a bill for doing their job if they make a big deal over it.
 
The sad fact of the matter is the police probably arrested him for touching the young tw*t. All these stupid "protection" laws, yet thieves can get away with breaking into you car or house and if you touch them then you're the one that gets done for it! :(
 
Anybody have his number so we can check it out? Hope they haven't busted him but after my experience I fear what to expect :(

I lived in Plumstead / Woolwich, South East London, from '92 - '00, I had a highly modified car - RS2-engined B2 Coupe Quattro, same color as my A4.

Never had any issues with the local kids, all depends on how you relate to them. If anyone so much as looked at my car the wrong way, the local kids would be banging on my door to let me know.

I used to bung them a tenner every now and again, worked well, my car was a secure as if I'd parked it in a police secure compound.

You can't win with kids - if you yell at them every time they lean on your car, you'll pay the price later!

I never even lost the most nickable item off my car, something all kids love - anodised tyre valve dust caps, with the Audi emblem.

Play ball with the kids, they'll look after you too. I was their hero - most of their mom's used to send them to mine with steaming Sunday roasts.

Had he tied the scrote up for pinching valve caps then it would be OTT but he had his window put out and they were (by the sounds of things) mid process of helping themselves to the contents. It is sounding like the feds are giving him grief. Bet the toerag walks away with little more than a caution as well

I remember a buddy of mine, Duane, in my Woolwich days, ran an immaculate BMW E30 325i M-Tech Sport.

He had a mean 'ol temper. I remember a kid nicked his dust caps, he caught the kid, and chased him to his house - the kid was on a bike.

The kid's dad came out, and rather than my man reason with him, he got into a fight over it! He busted the kid's dad's jaw, another neighbour came along trying to calm things, and my man busted his nose.

It got hairy, and the cops were called, and Duane busted one, before another busted him. Lol, Duane was a mean hitter when he was riled.

He got six months, and while inside, he busted another guy's nose over some foolishness, and drew another three.

yep i got nicked!! but the little basterd who done my car will not **** with my car again thats for sure!! i had him crying his eyes out givin me sob storys about needed money for his sisters baby!! GET A JOB!!

In all fairness the old bill were sweet with me, they had to nick me coz i walloped the little ****! (i say little he is 19)

The scrote aint pressing charges if i promised i woulnd beat him up if i saw him again lol, he will be paying for a new window and loss of earnings. he didntr steel anything as his face was stoved into the road b4 he had a chance!

Thanks to Andy b for supplying the massive zip ties that i used to lock him to my Steel work on my wall!! Didnt think of takin pictures of him, i was to busy nockin 10 bells out him!!

car is at auto glass now being sorted! i live fully comp! Cheers for your concern peeps too!! lol

You absolute swine. I just choked on my Coke I was laughing that much. Also had to explain my outburst in the office and they all think you're a hero as well.
 
I've pretty mixed views on this.

He may not touch your car again, but what's to say his friends won't?

Your car's still gonna be parked outside. Yes, the alarm will go off and alert you, but a brick lobbed from afar can do a lot of damage, and we can't watch our cars 24/7.

Not saying you should tolerate vandalism to your car, but perhaps deal with things differently...

i hve no problems with the chavs round here as a rule... they all love my car and respect me. Think this 1 was a chancer.... it went wrong. If he has any sence he will tell his mate not to go near it!!

i think i delt with it quiet well.. i could of compleatly beat the **** out of him and left him to bleed in the curb!

Its the only way people listen round here, had it when we 1st moved in, gangs outside the house trying to intimidate us. Dont work in this house mate... The missis is a little psycho and will go out there guns blazing. They all know not to **** with her too!! lol

If i do get a brick through my window.. then i get a brick!!! im insured!

i know man :( seems there is a vendetter out to all audi owners in our area mate. I was not as unlucky as you mate, still ****** me off my car has been violated!

He didnt really have a choice mate... he was barely concious. he keeped fallin over and SLAMMING his head into the tarmac! he was so clumsy officer! honest guv!
