My Z4 coupes replacement - Warning it's a BMW!

sweet car m8, prefer the bmw rims on the car tho, luv the chs (had 2 sets) just not sure on that beautiful machine.

cal

Super nice!! Really love it but cant afford one... Have to agree with Bluequattro though. The original rims look better than the CHs because it actually makes it look like an older model...

I really like the original rims as it really give it a more "modern" look.

Just my 2 bits!

Oh, I just noticed the 'drug-dealer' windows in the last photo.
I'd ditch them, they make it look a bit like a cut-n-shut or a photoshop.
Can they come off??

Leave the 19'' M Sport wheels on. They look absoloutely gorgeous. My Dad has a 335d M Sport coupe and with the same wheels and I just LOVE them. Ditch the CHs. I like the privacy glass too. I would keep it especially if you have kids, which you do.

i agree with the above. although i love the ch wheels i do think they look abit dated on the bm. lovely looking car though

I followed a black 3-series coupe in this morning.
Lovely wheels on it.
Reminiscent of the A3 wheels, photo below.
These'd be my choice, unless they're daft money above the M-sport ones.

Think they are SE upgrade wheels Bowfer. Do look very nice.

They look nice and easy to keep clean too.
I love my Alpina wheels but, boy, are they hard to keep clean.
Even with good products (poorboys etc.)

Hmmm nice wheels, I know you said that you were looking but blimey that was quick.

You didn't even offer me the Z4 :whistle2: at a knock down price.

I like it with CHs fitted, just needs a little drop in height.

Sam driven it yet ?

Oh and don't forget that the indicators are on the left hand stalk (I know but the oldies are the best LOL)

Paul

I hadn't planned on buying this one as it was too expensive and I wasn't too fussed having the Sat Nav. But I drove it, loved it and obviously bought it :) Got a very good deal in the end.

Lovely motor, MB.
I really love the 3-series coupe.
Looks lithe and light and sporty, where the A5 just looks fat and clumsy, IMO.
Personally, I prefer the BMW wheels to the CH's though.
Sell the CH's and get yourself another watch.

Not allowed another watch for the while... I've been told by a certain person who must be obeyed...

The tints are factory fit so don't come off but really aren;t that noticable in the flesh. Had them on my previous car as well.

Jury's still out on the BBS rims... They look better after I added some of that tyre stuff that makes them look new and matt.

I have said it before and I will say it again. It really is a stunning car. I love both the coupe and the saloon shape in M Sport or Alpina form but I think the coupe shape just clinches it (but only just!). The saloon is still a gorgeous car. There is a bloke down the road from me with a Le Mans blue 320d M Sport saloon and it looks the business. I think they look miles better than the new A4 or A5. These BMW cars have such presence on the road.

Is this a PCP deal again, MB?
If so, would you mind divulging the ins and outs??

yeah, nearly fell for one of these before I got mine, having been a devout BM driver... Followed a 335 this morning, well, I say followed, but it was more goaded.

Looked lovely... same colour codes too.

Happy with my current choice tho for now.
Enjoy the beemer. I'll be back one day!

saw one of them on the m1 on sunday....nice it was...very nice indeed.

That is ****** gorgeous

The consensus seems to be it isn't that Autovogue that do it.
They are just selling one already done.
General opinion is it's stuff from a company called 'Racing Dynamics' in Italy.

I have a feeling MB might be getting his credit card out....:icon_thumright:

The 'D35' badge must be the owners own work, bastardising a D3 and a 335 badge.

Aye. See what you mean now after looking at their website. What about you Bowfer? Not tempted to go for something like that next time around?

God yeah, I think the 3-series coupe is one of the best looking cars on the road.
I just can't live with a 2 door car when I have two young kids.
One day though, maybe.
By which time I'll be too old to be driving a coupe!:sm4:

I ferry'd my lad around in mine last weekend and it's a bit of a faff getting him and out of the back. Especially as I am prescious about my car! I'm going to stick with using Claire's car in future unless I need to use mine. If it's just the 2 of us I'll stick his seat in the front.

That Autovogue jobby is OTT for me... prefer the standard M Sport with a nice set of wheels like MBs

Try telling that to my old boy. 54 year old with white hair who takes great delight in blasting around Glasgow in his coupe!! You are never too old Bowfer mate and I have a feeling you will be riding your bike well into your fifties!!

I strongly disagree. The M Sport is beautiful but the AutoVogue version is also very tasteful IMO. Nothing at all chav about that car.

Blimey, when I spoke to BMW finance their rates were a joke.

The initial ones were shocking but I had got some quotes on line, kind changed the figures when I told BMW and BMw matched it.

Quite suprised actually as Mercedes Benz weren't interested when I tried to finance Claires car, it was a case of take it or leave it!

Hurrah success at last I've tried to post pic 3 times hope you like my BMW

Well it's no secret how much i like the M-Sport Coupe, it's a proper sports coupe unlike the A5/S5. I did come very close to having one.....and at this rate i still might!
Anyway congrats on the car mate it's lovely. Black beamer coupe is a classic isn't it so can't go wrong really!
With the current state of the car industry i am actually considering cancelling the TTS before the build date (Audi have already started messing me about with build and delivery dates) and seeing what happens to M3 prices next year.

I haven't driven an M3, but I have had a go of a TTS.
I can't imagine the M3 leaving me feeling so underwhelmed as the TTS did.
It wasn't bad, just.......I dunno.......a bit 'meh'....
If you know what I mean.
