More suspention questions

I have the 99 plate turbo and have uprated the suspention bushes with proflex bushes, i'm more than happy with the handeling but have recently got some annoying noises from the front nearside shock . I dont want to lower the car as it wont go up my drive , but would it be worth putting S3 shocks on ? or are they no different ? any info would be good

My piece'o'**** has S3 shocks and springs, to be honest the difference is very little. I get the same soft cornering effect but somehow hard ride i got with the "sport" suspension i had in the first place, if im honest all it did was lower the front by a tiny bit.

yeah but i dont want to lower it i just need to know about the shocks will they go in the standard springs ? mine is reasonably soft too but goes round corners wicked.

buy some uprated shocks with adjustable damping

I have some GAZ ones on mine. really good
