just been looking on the amd site and they are selling a new diverter valve called the hyperboost.is this all hype and no boost has anyone tried this product
 
Ummm nope ,

Forge 007 is the best ,

Hyperboost is the same as any other DV's
 
i have a forge fitted too mine just wondered if anyone has one of these on their car.looks and sounds like a quality product when you read about it.
 
I had one fitted on mine. Never had any problems with it. Supposidly a lot smaller than Forge.
 
I have one on mine, looks like a camo effect. Seems ok holds boost fine etc, but cannot seem to find additional springs to fine tune the unit like the 007
 
talking of springs in the 007 forge valve in general which is the best and can it make a vast difference or is this also a lot of hype ?
 
Different springs react differently and open/close at different rates. You wont get more boost, but you might get a more or less agressive kick depending on spring.. i think that makes sense
 
Id be willing to try one as I have a 007P currently, getting a spring made to adjust the tension wouldnt be an issue, same as shim'ing it up

Probably ideal with a 20vT conversion into say a Mk1 Golf etc where space is a bit limited
