N75j Valve

Hi there everyone just got a quick question, If I replace the N75 valve for a j model and my car hits limp mode will i need Vagcom to reset it ????? also do i need vagcom to do a throttle body alignment after ive cleaned it ???? Its MOT time again and just want to make sure everythings nice and clean and works !!!

usually the tb needs re-alignment after a cleaning:

Why are you changing your N75 valve ?
Has the car been remapped ? If yes then this is why it will not like the J Valve

cars not been re mapped just thinking of trying outthe j valve to see ifit will work but i havent got vagcom so thats why i was wondering

do i need it to reset limp mode ?? or to re align the throttle body ??
