Just took my A3 into the dealer today, had a noise coming from the front end when steering left and right only noitced it at low speeds the last week or so, turns out my steering rack was on the way out, so they fitting a new one as it under warrenty still lucky they had one in stock but still a two day job they reckon !!!
To my point now then they loaned my the new A3 2.0 Tdi 140 only 1000 miles on the clock thought this would be a good loaner check out the new diesel engine, Was not very impressed with it compared to my 2.0 Tdi 170, IMO it is def a lot quieter than mine, but apart from that wouldnt give it much else not much uummpphh in it i did about 50 miles today and the mpg was only showing 38 you def need to push it a lot more than my 170 i can drive mine pretty quick and always push 40mpg +. Bit of a let down have to see what the new 170 is like when it hits the roads later this year...
