Hi,as above.I have a 96 a4 1.8t sport and the turbo performance can only really be described as very inconsistent.Sometimes i have what i would call full boost when other times it feels very sluggish with little or no boost.
it seems to have full boost at low speed ie from a standstill but at high loading from second onwards is boost limited!It seems to pull at motorway speeds too.
I am a tech by trade so have checked all the basics and carried out a full vag com check but it is dtc free.The car has covered 100k with a full and comprehensive audi service history plus i have serviced it just to be sure.
Possibly and n75 valve?
