Just thought I would ask your thoughts on my new purchase.....
I have owned a late 2001 S3 for the past 12 months which was a lovely car (particularly after I remapped it).
Due to impending fatherhood and a general need for more economy etc we have bought the following to replace it. My first plans are to remap it again as it is out of warranty by 6 months, this should take it to around 180 to 185bhp. I have done some research into the vehicles history and can see it had a new clutch replaced by Audi under warranty.
The mileage is slightly higher than I wanted but we should only be doing a few trips to the continent when the junior member of the family arrives. The car has FASH and was last serviced at 48,500 miles.

I did look at older A6 and A4 Avants but with the 1.9tdi engine. It looks like hopefully I will get a good mix of performance, as well as space now.
Would be interested to hear of any improvements that are worth making before I start spending all my money on nappies!!
