Audi TT vs Audi S3...which is a better buy?

Its a bit sad that you are getting a car purely to pull women, the TT is for women and men that are trapped in a womens body.

Also when I first got mine most people thought the S3 was the 3.2 V6, surely that will impress your ladies.

Like many other posters its horse's for courses.
1.Some ladie's like the TT
2.They would look at a S3 and would not know what it was.
3.After doing a few track days I see more S3's than TT's so it might be the best all rould package, i.e easier to live with on a daily basis.
4.Only my two penny's worth.
5.I still only see a few S3's compared to TT's so it must be good to be part of the few people who truly know what the S3 is like to own.
 
A yellow S3 gets plenty of attention from the chicks, plus you see TTs all over the place. As many have said, S3s are pretty exclusive.

I'm still interested in what's up with the TT a-pilar now!
 
Oh the A-Pillar and general all round visibiltiy blew the TT outta my mind when I was in my neighbours one (Shes an 18year old girl who likes RnB... enough said!)

I got my S3 because I liked the visibility, performance, ease of getting in and out, boot space and the fact that it does suprise people! I get looks from girls and blokes in it as their quite evil but smooth looking subtle cars, but I dont get the wrong sorta attention from the Police

iI dont quite get what u mean saying what do i know about them (quattro sportn TT) it's thwe same engine as mine also mine is a quattro? the S3 looks better, also you don't see many off them.

Go on whats wrong with my green S3?

well you see audi didnt really make a lot of the tt quattro sport

its 1.8 but tuned up more and striped out. makeing it the fastest then any other in its model

betting the 3.2TT

I personally thing Greens a stunning colour for S3s, I love them in it, just couldnt find one with the right spec

Its said that Genius's pick green as thier colour too

I'm not surprised, it's just a differently mapped 1.8t with bucket-type seats and an alacantara steering wheel. It also carries different wheels, a different colour roof, probably a tiny change to the suspension height and I would expect some hardly noticable styling difference to the bumpers. Its not exactly ground breaking...
 
tt quattro sport - nice but too pricy for me!

i have drove my friends
your right its not ground breaking which is why i would stay with a s3
for the price for a s3 you get more

TT SPORT 20K its to much for not a lot more
 
I didn't like green, I only went to see it to test drive as it was the closest S3 for sale near me, it but really liked the colour when I saw it for real. And It was immaculate, low milage and full audi service history.

Had to get it.

I've always liked the oak green color from back in the day when the mark 2 golf gti's were about! I think thats the only car i'de get in green!

Personally it depends on the person really, if you dont mind the space in the back seats or the boot, and ur more of a 2 seater car kinda person then go for the TT, but if your always with people and do alot of shopping and want more of a practical car, id go for the S3.

I dont really kno the difference in price when it comes to buying the top spec S3 and top spec TT, but i am sure they come fully loaded as each other.

Its personal preference really along with how ur gonna use it, weekend car or everyday car?

Agree with the first TT. The new TT vs A3 vis a different decision. New TT hadles great in FWD, better in Quattro I think. New S£ drives and handles superbly when solo but when passemgers especially kids are on board they hate the handling and throw up a lot!!

New TT for 2 ... Current A3 Sportabck Q for better handling and savings in sick bags...

I had the same decision to make a few weeks back - TT or S3, I think the TT is more of a girly car as it's very rounded and cute/small like the beetle.

I actually think the orig. TT is looking very, very dated since the new one came out - prefer the S3 interior as well - far less fancy etc
 
S3 for that Q-car feel, TT for that Q-ueer feel. The only blokes ive seen driving TT's are proper spice boys with hair that would put a hedgehog to shame.

S3 is practical, handsome and the residuals are great, i also reckon they are kinda underground if you know what i mean. If you are buying a motor just for the chicks then im afraid to say you have a few things to learn in life, birds actually don't give a toss about what car you drive and the ones that do are the ones that i would'nt want hanging off my shoulder anyway.
 
Asking the question in the S3 forum is going to get the obvious answer, the S3.
However, i have only been in one TT and found it very cramped and looking around very common, the S3 being the complete opposite swung it for me.

I legitimately think you're what's wrong with the world today. I'm
Buying a tt because it's the only sports car Audi offers in my prrice range. I like to mob down canyons at high speeds. I want to have a sports car and I want to luxury that Audi offers. How is a TT for women? I'm brand loyal and want a sports car.

The TT is a better car in every way. It doesn't look like a poor mans A4/S4 its lighter, nimbler, faster. The only place the 3 possibly has the TT beat is if you need the back seat. In which case the 3 will always look like the 4's younger sibling.
