Hazard warning light query

Firstly please cut me some slack if this is a stupid question as Ive only had my A4 6 days

Ive just come home from a nice evening drive (without the wife ) and locked the car using the remote, the hazard lights did their usual flash but one thing happened which I cant say Ive noticed before and that was the hazard warning switch on the dash stayed illuminated. Is this normal?
Ive read through the manual and cant find anything to say it should remain lit.

ITs ok you can ignore me, just went and had a look and its not on now

the hazard switch stays illuminated for a while, its quite normal!!!

I just wish you could dim the poxy hazard warning switch...its quite distracting when driving home in the dark......

Well you can dim it, but all the rest of the dashlamps / doors etc / radio / climate will dim too !

Not only does the Hazard light stay on, but you might also find that the radio/sat Nav. Bose Amp will stay on for a while after you have switched the car off.
This is also normal so..... Don't Panic...
