My car battery has totally died. So I need to get into the engine bay to replace it.
But here lies the problem. I reversed the car into my pokey student back yard with the driver door too close to the wall to get out that side. Whenever we park in my back yard we have to climb over and get out of the passenger side.
But as all the electronics aren't working I can't unlock the doors to get in and pull the bonnet release. I can just about squeeze 'round and open the drivers door with the key but there's no way in hell I can actually get into the car to even reach the bonnet release lever.
So how do I open the bonnet to change the battery with no access the the interior bonnet release?
I'm stumped. A quick response would be appreciated so I can run over to Halfords and buy a new battery, fit it, and then drive to Asda to pick up some dinner =]
The front driver door handle is the only handle with a key lock on it. =[
Thanks Guys.
