anyway, had a new car for over 6 months now, loved it, but i feel im ready for another change, back to something more comfortable and sensible, this thing is just a bit raw to use day in day out

it was a celica gt4 st205 295bhp 4wd:

anyway, what im hoping for from your good selfs is some recommendations on what i could get next?

budget is open, by that i mean i dont know what i want to spend but hopefuly no more than what i sell the celica for as im busy saving, so around 6k

any ideas would be appreciated

don't really think thats what im looking for lol!

as i said, something a bit comfortable with some punch

Man you must have wasted a bit of cash buying and selling the Quattro Celica now back to an Audi? Should've kept the A3!

Cant beleive you want to get rid of the celica i bet that's insane! Whats it like compared up with scoobys etc?

Depending on age i guess but has to be S3 Comfortable and can get 260 Bhp with a Map.

iv spent a fair bit aye, but i wouldn't call it a waste because its what i wanted to do and have the money

really enjoyed it, and i might not change just yet, but im getting a bit old for all this noise and power (well ok im 22 but still!) and after having driven around in the bmw for a while when the celica was getting resprayed i fancy something with power in a more sensible way

maybe i just need to stomach it and spend over 10k for an s4, but would rather save my pennies and just spend the cash from the celica

in regard to whats its like against other cars, i tend not to race anyone if i can, things like p1's and evo's will still have some on me but most of the scooby range struggles

i prefer driving fast on a empty road :rockwoot:

Did you mean the S3 was a bit slow? What sort of size car you looking for? Unfortunately for 6k you'll be limited on choices but a mapped S3 may be a route. If your after more comfort then maybe a 10 yr old S4 with a few engine tweaks to get the punch your after?

aye the s3, as you say i think i need to up my budget

BMW E36 M3 Evo 300bhp rear wheel drive baby, so much fun and in your budget, as well as bullet proof engines. Mate i would back one of these anyday if i had 6k and petrol and insurance didnt matter. You got speed, built to last and 300bhp

Early Civic Type-R EP3's are within the budget but will feel a bit flat when used to all the torque of previous cars you have owned.

nissan 350z thats my next motor hopefully getting my mates nismo 340bhp one early next year,

I was in a similar situation mate, Im 23 and I kinda ruined myself carwise by doing all the performance side of things earlier than alot of my mates

My comprimise was a 350bhp S3, comfortable and wont get done by Saxos off the lights lol.

For 6k if you want something a bit more comfortable etc Id have to say some kinda Beemer

sorry mate didnt realise you said you were lookin to spend 6000,350z outta the question then.

SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW....

I wouldnt say they were slow mate, just feel slow due to lack of torque. A Gruppe M induction kit, decent exhaust and manifold and K-Pro ECU will transform these things into something else. I wanted one but cant stand the fact that the image is ruined by certain drivers

Have you thought about an S2?

Failing that i'd go for an e36 M3, not the evo ones as they arent so reliable
