Hi all, i'm selling my a4 1.8TQ 1999. It is modified but had it 4 years and did stuff to it years ago that looking back i shouldn't have! But the only place i think i'd get anywhere is ebay. Can anyone think of anywhere else.
I'm afraid to say this is my car:-

Where else can i sell it? I understand i'm not gonna get what i probably could have standard.

If it didn't have the spoiler it would not look to bad.

Try ebay thats a good bet but some people will pay for the 1.8T Quattro even when looking a bit sorry for its self.

How much you looking to get ?
 
Not as bad as I was expecting to be honest! Should fetch reasonable enough money on the 'bay I would have thought.
 
Like Markey said. if it didn't have the rear spoiler it wouldn't look too bad. Belive me I have seen worse. What sort of mileage and history has it got?
 
it has got full history, 113k, altho had piston rings, shells, oil pump, all new tappets etc bout 90k after oil pump seized. mite remove spoiler and add it as an option. Cheers guys. It drives lovely. The outer edge of the front grille is painted in a flip paint. Jetex exhuat. Pipercross panel filter, and has been chipped by chipped uk. Will be sorry to se her go, but can;t even get a jack underneath and doesn't go on any ramps lol.
 
thanks all, would love an s4, but thinking of maybe a vectra gsi as a temp gap, as work for vauxhall. But then my mature side says get an old run around and save for my s4. Unsure what to get if i'm honest. I can not get the damn thing on any ramps or even get a jack underneath etc, ya get the pic, and i haven't even lowered it
 
vectra!? are you joking? man has to eat and pay rent but for christ sake don't go to the dark side by driving their cars!
 
some nice person bout 3 years ago, went into the back of me and pushed me into someone else so all the old bumpers were scrap. Insurance paid for this bodykit.
 
Lose the spoiler and deny all knowledge it was ever there!

id just lose the spoiler and fit a m3 one on like doc said, ive seen your car in leicester?
 
Yeah i work in Leicester. Dunno how much i want for it to be honest, I guess 3-4k would be good.
 
it might be worth keeping, got it valued at 2k? Couldn't believe it
 
Same as ^^^^ id give you 2.5k for it all day long right now.
 
It's going on autotrader and ebay at the weekend, starting stripping today. DVD player out, subs etc. I'll be sad to see it go i must admit :-(
 
very nice... without the wing in the back. you can also try craigslist.com... you must list a price because its not for bidding.
 
ok so eventually on autotrader for £3500, want £3250 really. What can i run about in any ideas? Need something really cheap so can save for s4 :)
 
I agree, swap that rear spoiler for something low profile and I bet youll get more for it too
