I got 2 stickers a few weeks ago and both have peeled off and won't reattach. I cleaned the screen thoroughly first and they appeared to stick initially, but only lasted about a week.
Well what a difference! Why did I wait so long toget this done!
Went to AmD Yesterday for a Stage 1 Remap and New DV. Car was in for about 3 hours and the result was amazing.
Before Power - 227.4 Bhp
After Power - 269.3 Bhp
Before Lb/ft - 226.8
After Lb/ft - 302.6
The difference on the road is amazing. You can really hear the turbo spin up and it now pulls all the way to the redline whereas before it used to give you a shove inthe seat then the power would die out. It now pulls hard all the way and you quickly realise how inferior the brakes are!
First and Second gear is very aggressive, but as they are so short you quickly find yourself changing gear. In 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th it pulls very hard and after every gear change it throws you back in your seat after each change.
Very happy with the chip and also AmD. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't stay and watch the car whilst it was being worked on but I guess that was down to Health & Saftey and their insurance. Perhaps they could provide a viewing area for the future?
AmD were extremly professional and I would definately recomend them to any one.
On the way home (approx 150 Miles) the MPG seemed better also. Will have to monitor this over the next few weeks.
Anyone who is contenplating getting this done - Do it! It is very rewarding and you feel a little smug nowing that you can out perform a lot of cars on the road.

WOW! guys 300+Lbs! I can't wait, she is booked in for the 16th then on the 18th off to Cornwall for a small holiday with the Fam. I trust there will be some nice roads on the way.
Do you think I should bother with the DV? Happy with my DV and didn't know if it really makes a difference or not.

I'm not sure about the performance figures but I know it is ****** quick! I think the 0-60 won't be that much different (perhaps half a sec quicker) as you still need to change to 3rd before you can hit 60!
But the 30 - 70 and other figures must be impressive!

Just been out in car and 4th gear feels like 2nd! The power is so aggressive!
You'l love it.
The problem is though that you want to drive it quickly all the time!

I'm really jealous as I will only have 210bhp and around 200 ft lb after the upgrade so I won't have the same kind of response you have

James, don't forget you will have a weight advantage to take in to account of around 125Kg's due to the 2wheel drive. Thats quite alot and worth around 30bhp.

The novelty factor does wear off after a while and you'll be back to sensible driving at the more suitable of times. How about a driver upgrade too ?? I did the drivetrain day, highly recommended, you'll learn a hell of a lot and will shock yourself about how many bad habits you have picked up !
