finding the right car! :D

well, first post as a cry for help really

nogaro blue with black leather/blue alcantara interior, preferably a standard car (RS4's allowable tho as they look cool in the arches!)

went too look at one today but the boot shut on the drivers side was a bit off, then found blisters on the offside wheelarch, closely followed by along side the roof rails on the same side, roof rails not too bad, but the wheel arch was two thickness's as i ran my finger round the lip just inside

when asked the owner stated that the car used no oil, but he kept a can of fully synth behind the seat and the oil was passed full, and 1mm above the kink in the stick

was the right colour and had the perfect interior, but the little bits put me off, he said it had been chipped (AMD iirc) and had some audi service history, but also had it serviced at jabba sport, something about the car was just not quite right and for 11k on a y plate i would expect it to be mint, does this sound about right?

If you are not satisfied with it, just walk away, there are plenty of cars around, some will be mint, some will be dogs. At the end of the day, it's your money you are spending, I would look around for a bit longer, and £11k for a Y reg seems expensive, find something newer for your monies imo.

well we have looked at a red S3 with full leather (53 for 13350), but the dealer who had it needs to sack his sales guy, got tit lip on when i asked him for a price (providing i was going to buy it today, he could get me a price, erm, yeah, shouldn't that be the other way round, you tell me a price and i say if its good enough????) my lass would have bought it, but i got tit lip on back and we left i am guessing commision would be nice for him at this time of year, so a good deal would have be good for him too!

we had a seemingly mint one to look at in marble arch, but mel decided she deffo wants blue alcantara/blk leather trim, so that one was out of the running and we went and spent a grand and a half on a mountain bike for me not a bad day! (for me anyway! )
