Remove Rock from centre console?

Yo peeps,

I bought my car and noticed that it had some rock (as in the sweet from the seaside) almost melted in the centre conole hinge.

One idea was to remove the console and put in the freezer overnight so the rock goes brittle and just comes off .. any thoughts on this please?

Go to the local dog pound tell them you can give a good home to one of there strays, take him home pop him in the car, show him the sweet , then take him back in the afternoon and tell them he wasn't the one for you.

Get a steamer like you use for stripping wallpaper.

Freezing it sounds better than steaming it - it will just go to sugary mush!

Could try some freezer spray on it, but I'd test some of the dash plastic first in case it goes really brittle or discolours etc.
