as the title says, I've read a lot of people talking about this, but dont know what it actually is means? I've got a '03 plate 2.5Tdi Quattro Sport with a CD based SatNav, will I be able to fit it into mine?

Cheers

If you've got an Audi Navigation unit in the middle of your centre consol then you've already got it mate! RNS-e is the what the Audi satnav units are called.

Sorry to be the bearer of not great news but if you've got the CD Based Sat Nav Plus with the centre screen it is the same as mine the RNS-D which is good but not as many toys as the RNS-E.

Considering the upgrade myself and then adding in the OEM bluetooth kit. Need to confirm if the CD Changer in the glovebox is compatable with both.

I would not be to concerned with the CD changer anyway as the RNS-e has 2 x SD cards behind the screen so you can load 8gb of music on to them.

Good point, guess it's just habit with the CDs! Maybe I'll look at an iPod interface for the total overkill of musical choice.

Don't forget that the Audi iPod adapter reduces your iPod to appearing like 6 "CDs" - CD1..5 = first 5 playlists, CD6 = complete contents of iPod.
