just found a pipercross induction kit for mt 1.8 t called a k-jet induction kit which just replaces the bottom of the air filter box which i think would stop most of the hot air entering air filter ?
anybofy running one of these ?

i ran a raid hp induction kit on my t sport , which was remapped and had a cat back system.
sounded pretty cool with a slight dump valve noise on lift off.
most people will tell you that they will ruin your performance and your maf , but its balls . wash off any excess oil and get a couple of good cold air feed pipes and it will be perfect.

I know the arguments against but after a lot of thought I've just drilled my airbox. First I smoothed inside then set to with a 22mm drill.
I have been really impressed. Sounds much better and performs better. Next stage is to add a cold air feed.
In my mind this is better than an induction kit and will certainly be the same as the pipercross one but with the advantage of looking stock and using stock filters.
