Mum just traded her TT QS against a new S3 in sprint blue with Satnav, parking sensors, Bluetooth, rear tints and black and grey seatsshe bought it so she has a car when she is in the uk for a month a year (nuts) but it does mean ill have an S3 with extremely low milage in a couple years lol

Your mum got it?! Wow your mums cool lol. Your so lucky man, you get an S3 down the line!
 
That's one cool mum.

No offence, but to imagine the look of other Audi A3/S3 drivers meeting your mum with her Sprint Blue S3 in a traffic light ... priceless.
 
You can tell it's a woman's car,look at the position of the driver's seat !

Is it just my screen or does it look alot darker than Sprint Blue in those pics? Getting on for Nogaro...

It's a cool car for a mum to have!!!!! Although I can't help but think that it won't do the car much good to sit around for 11 months a year??
 
wont make any odds to the car my folks have done it since i was little leaving a car in the garage when they were living abroad no probs. Mine site for 3 months at a time aswell and starts first turn of the kay everytime
 
The question has to be asked,why would a woman want a car like this ?
In general,they're even less likely to use the performance than a bloke.
The styling also isn't very 'womanly',it's designed to appeal to aggressive type blokes.

My wife had an Escort Cosworth once,briefly.
She floored it once,under duress from me,crapped herself and sold it soon after.
 
Good on ya mum for that Simon - it's quality. My Mum has had a couple of drives of mine, she's a bit of a petrol head - appreciates a sporty car (has always had a sportier car than my dad anyway!). When ever she drives mine she puts her foot down - I think it's hilarious - she's grinning like a cheshire cat!
 
believe me my mum can drive the car as its meant to be. Quite funny all the comments about how cool she is its just an A3 nothing special. She has always had decent cars: Mk2 Golf GTI show car, Polo 16v modded, Mk4 GTI 1.8T modded, 2 x TT 225s, TT QS, 2 x A3 2.0Tfsi Sline and now the S3 the only reason for it is they couldnt get the RS4 with standard seats that she wanted
