I have just bought a 99 A4 1.8T and have been considering chipping my car, but i'm not sure which company i should getit from. The two companies i have looked at are TAP and APR. I don't know much about either so hopfully someone can tell me either which one is better or of a different company. I'm going to try and keep the chip under $500 but i also want the most Hp gain as possible also.

I don't know anything about TAP but APR are good company with some nice little extras.

Thanks for all of the Info on the chips, i think i'm going to stick with APR, i have also heard good things about their chips. Do you have a chart(dyno) for the APR stage III chip?

There seems to be very few dyno plots floating around on the American boards, but maybe APR can supply you with something....

or AmD with the OneClick module, think you'll find it'll be the cheapest option /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Should be available in a few weeks!
