just carry on his merry little way 2cm away from the steering wheel.

HAHAHAHAHA - sooo funny, what is it with the 2cm away from steering wheel? this always cracks me up... how you supposed to steer and look about. have you ever tried it. i have once i just cracked up lauging trying to turn the wheel.

And they wind the seat right up too so it pins them to the steering wheel. haha some lasses tend to do it too.

Lol yeah my mum does it shes about 5ft and sits about 1/2ft away from the wheel. If the air bag goes of i hate to think what will happen!

LOL! Nearly as stupid as the Max Power boys who drive round with their seats nearly flat backwards! Always thought that was the wankest style statement of them all and would make it pretty hard to drive. Unless you have arms like an ape.

Think you've just about summed it up there!

Defiantly support the compulsory retest - it was an eighty year old with poor vision that pulled out in front of me on my motorbike causing me to go through his windscreen. That soon woke him up.
Two weeks later he ran someone over who was stopping traffic to let a lorry reverse out.

hahah used to see them driving round bradford all the time, looked as if someone had taken the seets out as you could just the this head popping over the top of the door where the window starts.

I wonder why Insurance premiums for young drivers are so high?
I am 68 and I seriously object to the generally ageist attitude from some contributers.

I suppose theres issues from both sides of the fence Gordon.

Both young and old drivers alike have stigmas attached. though this is usually a minority.

Im 27 and hold an advanced driving licence and 10 years NCB on my record. so my premiums are very low compared to others my age.

Im sure you are a great driver too, as are many other mature drivers.

Some of the posts just point out the stereo typical young and old drivers.
