two broken arms,broken femur (leg),broken ribs,liver damaged on impact,internal bleeding has been halted
hes in an medically induced coma as the pain his body is experiancing is excruciating
still in critical care
I went to see him but came away,spend nine hours a day five days a week with him and just couldn't stomach seeing him broken up

At least he's alive. My brother-in-law had a similar accident by all accounts (his left leg is a few cm shorter than his right) and he's able to do most things pretty well. Gets tired after running about after the kids though...but then don't we all?
Glad to hear your mates making progress.
Help from friends and family are equally as important as the treatment and care from docotrs/nurses.
If you all try to keep positive and upbeat it will rub off onto him when you see him.......

Christ almighty only frankenstien has more scars than him,the reports were wrong hes done loads more than I was told.no part of his body is undamaged!
Hes the same as before personality wise,he did tell me he was frightened and if you knew him you would know it must of been hairy if he says so.
I tried a bit of humour but have to admit I found it hard when he was telling me about it took two hours to cut him out of the car and a chap in the fire service who he knew was crying because of his state,his wife said they tagged him before putting him in the air-ambulance which is common practice for patients who are not gonna make the journey.
