hi everyone my car is 2002 2.5tdi v6 audi a4 b6 quattro 180 bhp engine ake.I have remapped this car about 5 times with turbo tech in ireland as the first time i wasnt so impressed, and now im resonably happy but was expecting alot more.the car is now at 204 bhp and 330 lbs/tf torque.I used to own a pd 115 golf a 130 and a 150 and they were alot more responsive to the dimsport software.I know this engine is not a pd but really for the capacity it is it should be more than happy with an additional 50 bhp.I spoke to a company called torque tronix in northern ireland who told me they used to own a 2.5 a4 and the problem with them is the pump can not flow enough diesel to make big power, and that he could try adjusting the slider on the pump manually but at 1200 pounds a pump if it goes wrong isnt cheap .The a4 they had with different nozzles and a hybrid turbo made 230 bhp. But the guy told me if i had the b5 2.5 they could work it to around 300 bhp.He does sound like he knows his stuff as he prepares cars and engines for vw motorsport uk.but does anyone on here have any info i really would like more power

Remap'd 5 times??? I take it you didnt pay for each n everyone:think:

Have you thought about buying a New car - Perhaps a petrol turbo??

He said about 5,could be more.:faint:

I am guessing a live map 5 times?

Bit like Customcode as my brother has a Seat TDI that has been mapped a few times (well I call it tweeked). As has added axtras like the exhaust, filter etc etc he had the map re-done to allow for the extra mods and to make the most of them

ha ha no dont worry i didnt pay for each one the guy doing it is a good friend of mine as for buying a petrol car never again.I had a nissan skyline r33 with 425bhp and 435 lbs/ft :hubbahubba: really fast and when driven easy will maybe do about 10 mpg which is a joke.so i dont want another i love the mpg from the diesel and sound of my v6 justn want more power if i can get:meeting:

Well it really does depend on my driving.last week the dis said i had 0 miles in the tank so i put in 10 euro at 99.4 cents a litre and i drove it easy as i left my wallet at home and had no more money. So i reset the miles and managed to get home on the tenner with 5 miles on the dis and i had covered 112 miles so i think thats about 55 ish.on the other hand if i drive the ring out of it it prob be in the high 30s either way its cheaper than petrol per litre and more economical too for the type of power in it anyway its 4wd:racer:

Good performance and good economy.Cant argue with that.:icon_thumright:

sounded good to me too.why are ya selling the car james?surely after all the work its a shame to see it go.I know i could sell mine for a b7 but id have to start all over and to me thats too much trouble and plus im always playing with my car in some way,Today i took off the trims over the doors inside and put cloth behind them as i have the odd squeak and rattle prob from the bass:jump: Next on the cards is new chrome trims for around the windows as mine are gone like milky coloured if i knew how to post pics id put em up.I have shown the dealer and they have not yet decided if this corrosion is covered in the 12 year anti corrosion warrenty....

Ive only done 3000 miles in it in the last year, and the misses is going to be driving my car soon so im going to get a smaller hatch, hopefully an S3.

Same reason, im mybees selling mine! ive done 450 miles(max) in 6 months

New Chrome Trims?? Are you meaning the Whole Chrome surround that goes around the outside??? How come they have gone funny??Surely Audi have to sort it out. Do you realise how much the Chrome Window trim costs??:w00t:

Yes the chrome under the windows and the rear quarter pieces are all fu-ked on my car, audi are trying to get out of it by saying this problem is not corrosion and that the corrosion warrenty only covers the body of the car. But i said in the book it says exterior of the car and thats what these are they are not interior trims. The chromes on top over the doors are fine its just all along under the glass especially under the mirrors. The price for the two rear quarter pieces and four doors is 365 euro incl vat.How do i put up the pics or can some one do it for me..

Would be interested to hear about what figures are possible from the 2.5tdi, as originally asked.
Always liked the thought of it, but it's not massively more powerful than the B7 2.0 tdi (170) once remapped.

I appreciate the B7 is more expensive and also IMO not as nice looking as the B6, but hey - not wanting to start another thread by the way...!

hi tommy

will be very interested to hear how you get on with a claim

mine have the exact same prob

if they agree tho there could be a flood of similar claims, looks like its a common problem
