What the hell does it mean?!?!?!?!?

I keep seeing it in replies to threads and i ain't got a clue what it's all about.

Don't you ****** start!!! :)

bump - when a thread is further down the page and someone wants someone else to see it they "bump" the thread up to the top of the page

eg say i wanted to know the exact offset of an A3 8P and i waited all day and gradually the thread made its way further down the page, i would then reply to my own post saying "bump" or "to the top (ttt)" etc....

same with selling stuff - its just to refresh the topic!

Cheers.

Still don't really get it though.....

whats not to get though

say you are selling your car on this website

your post starts at the top of the page

during the day/week, more people sell things so your car ad is pushed to the bottom of the page (thats if no one shows any interest)

what you then do is say "anyone interested" therefore putting the car for sale ad back at the top of the page

instead of going into a story people would say "bump" or "ttt" for short and putting the post back to the top so more people can see it

Aaaaaaahhh.

Now i get it.

Bit slow today, out on it last night.

Nice.
