Whats Mods on Your A4 ?

im getting serious itchy feet waiting on my A4 ! cant wait till it comes !

just wondering if anyone has done any modifications to theirs yet ? can be anything !

Ive already bought one of those wee S-line button/light things lol
 
I've changed the interior to a custom leather one as my car came with cloth, fitted a centre arm rest which was also retrimmed to match, changed the pedals for RS4 metal ones which look really good, changed the wheels from standard s-line 17" to 19" new look RS4 complete with GSD F1 tyres (seriously grippy) and had a remap with bluefin application to enhance the performance and provide switchability. Debadged the rear to remove the 2.0tdi.
My next mod will be to add graduating tints by the summer as lthr and black cars isn't always the best combination, other than this I think that's about it for now as I'm feeling 'content' with the car and its subtle but sporty looks.

I think you will be very pleased with your car when it arrives, the A4 is not as 'sporty' to drive as the A3 but offers a good blend of space and refinement and is happy to oblige when you feel the need to press on, some members have issue with the S-line suspension sayng it is a little hard and crashy but I have no problem with it, in fact I'd like it a little firmer but the wife probably wouldn't agree with me as the need for a sports bra would spoil her comfort :)
 
cheers mate. i quite fancy putting an air filter on it K&N or something and im gonna take the 2.0 badge off :icon_thumright:

You and me both. Mine is supposed to be delivered Friday but being that it's a BH I reckon I'm looking at another weekend in a hired Astra 1.6:keule:

What's the s-line button light thingy? I reckon I want one!

I put a green panel filter on a previous A3 2.0tdi, can't really say it made a great difference although I did have a full miltek turbo back on that car which did make a noticeable diff in breathability and how the power was produced, in hindsight I only bought the filter because I was at a RR day and couldn't find anything else to spend my money on LOL :)

The 170 is a pretty good car as standard and if you look at my specs I set out to build my own (minus the quattro) as with the recent new arrival I couldn't justify another brand new car,I was going to wait for an ex demo to come up at my usual dealers but my patience couldn't hold out until June!! Can understand your excitement, nothing like a new car and the special edition is a superb spec :)
 
i put 19" tsw /yokos in place of rs4's,tinted windows all round, debadged rear, retrofit armrest,dtm spoiler,kenwood motorised dvd player,ipod connection,rear roof moniter -rear sunblinds on order

new tyres made BIG difference orginal conti's weren't up to much funny never noticed till fitted new wheels

Does look easy to fit, although there is nowhere on my B6 A4 to fit it..!!

Unlike the A3, both sides of the hazard switch slide out, one is the cup holder and the other is a credit card drawer. Only space for a button already has the ESP switch in it.

B7's may well be different though.
 
I have change the frontgrill to the one from the S4, mirrors from the S4, KW suspension, 20" rims with 235/30x20, xenon in the foglights, RS4 style exhaust and some other things.
 
Mine is a B6 but ive done...
S4 Recaro(half leather),B5 S4 front brakes,Koni SSK suspension kit,RS4 RARB,Cat back Milltek with twin exits,FMIC,Remap,Modified airbox,ABT styling kit,Rear spoiler,Tints,19" Carlsson Alloys.Think thats it.
 
Mines just standard, well it's got 18 x 235's on it from the last owner
 
The best mod I think I've done is fitting the fishscale alu. trim to the interior. Looks so much better that the brushed stuff that was in an A3 I drove recently.
 
Spin 140 - you got any pix of the mota, sounds lovely...

Also, 160 in standard and 198 after remapping? Thought the 2.0tdi was 140 or 170 in standard ?
