A3 1.8T with S3 bumpers and skirts - fair enough, looks a nice enough job of it and pretty clean etc

However at the bottom of the listing he goes on about fitting facelift wings - now i had an S3 bumper on my pre facelift and never had any fitment problems i just screwed them straight into the new guides -

Probably been a smash and the guy's tellin porkies methinks.

Also 210 bhp from a 150, is there such a map? seems a bit high
 
Just read it again full interior airbag lights on etc new steering wheel -- but its hpi clear, why does he think that makes it ok to sell it as something its not,

I pity the fool!
 
its cause he has fitted face lift lights also the S3 wings are wider
 
Why would you ever buy 2 new wings to fit facelift lights - i have them on mine, and it doesnt even look like they're S3 wings to me
 
prob stole a s3 and stripped the parts !! i mean, why would you spend so much doing up your car just because it had a dent in the rear wing ?

notice the pic of the engine bay, the passenger side light, there's a huge gap between it and the piece of metal that goes on top of the front grill , but as you follow it to the other side that one suddenly meets up with the top of the grill......

prob worth the price though just for all the bits though !!
 
There's a bloke up this way tried to do the same thing to his A3. Didn't do as well as that though. Not a bad job by the looks of things.

Revo claim 210bhp from their remaps.

He does say in the ad that he's just had a Powerflow fitted and that the latest pictures have the Powerflow and S3 badges on...

It looks good. doesnt neceserily have to be a dodgy conversion. If I picked up a cheap A3. then cheap parts from a breaker, I too would go down this route IF i could not afford to insure an s3 and wanted the looks. I know of somebody who made a e46 bmw 325ci, look like an M3 by changing bonnet, wings, even rear quarters! seens pointless to some, but people do it.
