Problem with Symphony

I put a CD into slot 6 of the in dash changer. After about 30 secs I heard a strange noise, so i turned the unit off and it went away. When I turned it back on the CD player would not work. None of the discs will play or eject. I finally got error 3 showing.

Any one know of any way to solve this without going into the dealer?

i had error 3, dealer fitted new unit (warranty) then send old one back to germany to remove cds. my cds arrived back to me 6 weeks later in the post.


so probably not good news if your out of warranty

Thank for that. Error 3 means that there is a problem with the changer. Unfortunately the way it tell you to solve it isn't working.I have ordered some keys from ebay. Will try both options when I have them. Car is still in warranty (untill october this year)Will have to see how fixing it myself goes.
