Audi-Sport Karting Results!!!!

Conditions were not favourable i.e. heavy rain and deep puddles!!! Slippery grass run off's and a lot of grit and sand (still got sore eyes today!)

For once the lighter people were at the slight disadvantage, having less traction than the heavier people, but we were all spinning and sliding everywhere!!!!

Results:

1st - R1GTI (Rich) - 75 Laps
Joint 2nd - S3BABEE (Gareth) - 74 Laps
Joint 2nd - WANDO (John) - 74 Laps: **Fastest Lap: 28.92**
4th - DAVIDR (Dave) - 73 Laps
5th - FLIPPER (Pete) - 72 Laps
6th - JAYA4TURBO (Jay) - 72 Laps
7th - AUDI GIRL (Jo) - 71 Laps
8th - RICHA3TURBO (Rich) - 71 Laps
9th - PHILL (Phill) - 70 Laps
10th - LORETTA (Loretta) - 70 Laps
11th - ALEX STANLEY (Alex) - 68 Laps
12th - REBECCA (Rebecca, Alex's (better /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif half) - 62 Laps

Some oddly performing karts out there on the track unfortunately but a good fun session !!!!
 
??? I unlapped myself from Rich after my spin on the grass so I know I did the same ammount of laps, Jo you'll need to edit your post /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

oh and the qualifying list was? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Wando - I saw u modifying the engine on the cart, shame about the traction hey! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Was great fun

Took me a while on the drive home to get used to having the backend pointing in the same direction as the front.

Look forward to the next meet, me thinks i will be heading back for some work on the motor before then anyway!

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif shame they all run on a governor anyway! the only way to get more throttle on those is to change the spring in the governor casing or bend the arm inside the same casing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
 
nice to see the track allowed 'rubbing' I think we all had some 'moments' and on the day it was nice there were no rules stopping us overtake /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
 
Thanks for organising it all and next time maybe I'll make it out for the night before too. I quite fancy a farl!!!!

The old boys "timing by eye" was all to ****, I spent at least 5 minutes stranded with a dead kart awaiting repair, so I'm not sure how he counted my laps /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
I wish I could have made it, but my hood was leaking....
