Hi all...

I've got a genuine Ross Tech HEX USB cable - Windows 10 with the latest version of the software.

When I do a standard scan of my car the software goes into not responding. I wonder - I'm I just being impatient or is something not quite right?

Should not go in to not responding. Are you running an up to date version of VCDS and in fact windows 10?

Thanks for replying (i've just noticed, apologies!) Yeah its fully upto date and Windows is fully upto date. Its quite an old cable, was bought around the time of version 11 software, not sure if that makes a difference?

It will work through a couple of modules before it freezes...

Well if both your windows 10 and VCDS is up to date, VCDS is currently at Version 18.2.x, then you should have no issues. Could be that your windows needs reinstalling...

If it is registered with Ross - tech you can ask for techinal and sw adivce on there forum .
