I am having a sick urge to have BBS CH wheels on my car.
They are a pretty penny brand new and I dont want crappy reps.
Will Golf GTI edition 30 wheels or any other BBS CH that were factory fitted to VAG cars be compatible?
Offset is the biggest concern I am guessing??

Ed30 ones are 18s for a start.

Well that puts that to bed then. Any other VAG cars with these wheels in 19"??

Seen them on a few S-Lines. Look decent enough but I think I prefer the ones I have. Also they are 2 piece and a pain to refurb....................
And they will need a refurb.

Speedlines are easy to refurb. Better than solid wheels.

Speedlines have to be split, centres painted/coated, barrels chromed/polished, centres resealed in to barrels, every rim bolt (probably replacements) refitted and torqued.

A standard wheel just gets painted/coated. Clearly one of these is easier than the others.

Most refurb places won’t touch split rims and those that do want a fortune

DIY refurbishment. Split them yourself. Centres can be sent for powder coating if you can't paint. Polishing rims or rubbing them down is easy too. Depends on your skill level.

How does doing all that make them better than solid wheels for which you can miss out most of those steps?

Speedlines look better than CH IMO.

Feck that. Unless you are on the dole or live your life in your man cave.
I dont dislike the BBS speedlines but a 2 piece wheel with no dish is a waste of extra hassle

There are two types of speedlines, with and without dish. The common ones are without dish. Mine are dished

Let us see a pic or you made it all up!:blahblah1:

I let you do the hard work for me seeing your so easily offended and cannot take a joke.
In any case that is hardly a dish. Nice enough wheel. Just not my cuppa
